Welcome to Loc’d & Lovely LLC. By booking an appointment, using our website, or engaging our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Services 

​

Loc’d & Lovely LLC provides loc maintenance and establishment services, including but not limited to Microlocs retightening and establishment, Sisterlocks™ retightening, and Interlocking services, performed by a Certified Microlocs Practitioner and Sisterlocks™ Trainee. 

​

Sisterlocks™ is a registered trademark of its respective owner. Loc’d & Lovely LLC’s use of the term reflects training status and is not an implication of official Sisterlocks™ certification unless explicitly stated.

Booking & Appointments 

​

All appointments require a card on file at the time of booking. 

Establishment services (Microlocs, Sisterlocks™, Interlocking) require a non-refundable retainer fee, which is applied toward the total service cost. 

​

All bookings are subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy, available on our website. 

​

Payment 

​

Accepted payment methods: Zelle, Cash, Apple Pay, and Credit/Debit Card (3% processing fee applies to card payments). 

Payment is due in full at the time services are rendered, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Client Responsibilities 

​

By booking a service, you agree to: 

• Arrive on time and prepared as instructed for your appointment (e.g., hair washed and dried, if requested) 

• Disclose any known scalp conditions, allergies, or sensitivities prior to service 

• Follow at-home care instructions provided by your practitioner to maintain the health and integrity of your locs 

• Communicate honestly about your hair history, including prior chemical treatments, color services, or previous loc work

Results & Expectations 

​

Loc formation and appearance vary based on individual hair texture, curl pattern, density, and growth rate. While Loc’d & Lovely LLC strives for consistent, beautiful results, no specific timeline or outcome can be guaranteed, as the locking process is a natural one that develops over time. 

​

Right to Refuse Service 

​

Loc’d & Lovely LLC reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any client for reasons including, but not limited to: 

Unsafe, unsanitary, or unhealthy scalp/hair conditions discovered at the time of service Disrespectful, abusive, or unsafe behavior toward the practitioner or staff Prior no-show history, as outlined in our Refund & Cancellation Policy

Photography & Content 

​

Loc’d & Lovely LLC may photograph or video client hair (before, during, and after service) for portfolio, marketing, and educational purposes. Clients may opt out of this by informing their practitioner prior to their appointment. 

​

Limitation of Liability 

​

While every effort is made to provide safe, professional service, Loc’d & Lovely LLC is not liable for any pre-existing hair or scalp conditions, allergic reactions to disclosed or undisclosed sensitivities, or outcomes resulting from a client’s failure to follow at-home care instructions.

Changes to These Terms

​

Loc’d & Lovely LLC reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services or website constitutes acceptance of any changes.
